Reformed Audio Presents: The Shorter Catechism

A family is the seminary of Church and State; and if children be not well principled there, all miscarrieth: a fault in the first concoction is not mended in the second; if youth be bred ill in the family, they prove ill in Church and Commonwealth; there is the first making or marring, and the presage of their future lives to be thence taken, Prov. 20:11. By family discipline, officers are trained up for the Church, 1 Tim. 3:4, One that ruleth well his own house, etc.; and there are men bred up in subjection and obedience.

"The Shorter Catechism is, perhaps, not very easy to learn. And very certainly it will not teach itself. Its framers were less careful to make it easy than to make it good."

- Benjamin Warfield

Welcome was conceived and developed by Ryan Jankowski and Benjamin C. Richards of Tucson, Arizona. Our goal is to create a resource for thoughtful Christians that provides high quality audio versions of some of the best Christian theological literature. In addition, we also offer pdf versions of many of the books and articles we have recorded. We have learned from our own experience that, while there is no substitute for reading, listening to recorded material is another great way to assimilate good Christian literature.

Since our desire is to see these works disseminated to the widest possible audience, all of our resources are available free of charge. We encourage everyone to download, copy and share these files. We do request that if you post them on your own website, that you acknowledge as the source.
